There was an 80% chance of rain the day of Kathryn & Lane’s engagement session – on the way there, I drove through a downpour that lasted maybe 2 minutes. It was like someone dumped a bucket out on that small stretch of Interstate 65, because there was sunshine on either side. Brooke was getting ready for two weddings – she and her Brazilian fiance Bruno decided to have one in Brazil and one here in Montgomery in order to accommodate as many of their family members and friends as possible. Their Brazil wedding was taking place not long after we did her bridal portraits, so when she arrived for her session with a broken foot, I was a little worried for her.
