Wedding: Brooke & Brandon – First United Methodist Church & Alley Station – Montgomery, Alabama

Brooke & Brandon’s wedding day started with a hair extravaganza at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel with a team from Doug’s 2 Salon, including Master Stylist Ty Eiland:Brooke’s Priscilla of Boston gown reminded me of a mermaid – but not many mermaids rock sky high Pour la Victoire wedges!First United Methodist Church was the perfect backdrop – especially for a flowergirl on the run. 🙂The team at Kathy G did an incredible job with the decor and food at Alley Station, including purple uplights and mini BLTs:Peggy McKinney Cakes took care of dessert……but if that wasn’t enough sugar for you, there was a table full of mini desserts……plus a candy table to make your own sweet favor to take home:Even with all that sugar around, nothing was sweeter than the moment when one of Brooke’s dads gave a toast – and said some unforgettably kind words about his new son-in-law:Brooke and Brandon didn’t plan to have fireworks at their reception. Little did they know, the Montgomery Biscuits took care of that for them by having a fireworks show the same night.Best. Dance. Picture. Ever.Thank you to Brooke and Brandon for letting me spend the day with you before you headed off to Sandestin! Here’s hoping all your upcoming adventures are just as much fun. 🙂

Bridal Portrait: Brooke – Blount Cultural Park – Montgomery, Alabama

Brooke was getting ready for two weddings – she and her Brazilian fiance Bruno decided to have one in Brazil and one here in Montgomery in order to accommodate as many of their family members and friends as possible. Their Brazil wedding was taking place not long after we did her bridal portraits, so when she arrived for her session with a broken foot, I was a little worried for her. But in typical Brooke fashion, she didn’t let it bother her, kept a smile on her face and said they’d figure it out!

Portrait: Emma Grace – Millbrook, Alabama

This little cutie patootie is the niece of Chase, whose engagement session I shot not too long ago. Chase’s mom (Emma Grace’s grandmother) contacted me about doing a session for her, so long story short, I met up with Emma Grace and her mom Nicole (Chase’s sister). Confused yet? Don’t worry, just enjoy the cuteness:

Senior Portrait: Alexandra – Fort Toulouse – Wetumpka, Alabama

Hard to believe, but Alexandra (who has been in front of my camera several times over the last few years) is officially 18 today. Before we know it, she’ll be off to Auburn as an official college student – so glad I got to do her senior portraits before she goes! Hey Angelina Jolie – Alexandra will give you a run for your money in the awesome pouty lips category. 🙂
