Portrait: Hudson – Montgomery, Alabama

Ahh, the cuteness that is Hudson. As I’ve mentioned before, quite possibly the easiest baby ever to shoot with. I confess, I’m a little sad that he’s a year old now and I won’t see him every few months for his baby plan sessions (although I am doing a happy dance that mom & dad are planning on bringing him and his big brother back later this year for a family session). This time around, Mom brought along a super cute rocking chair from her childhood – big brother was photographed in it when he was a year old, and now it was Hudson’s turn. After he sat in it for a more traditional shot, he had to be extra cute and climb up in it – and of course, I didn’t object. 🙂

Commercial: Doug’s 2 Headshots – Montgomery, Alabama

Love headshot update time at Doug’s 2 – when you shoot with folks in the beauty business, you know everyone is going to show up looking good (even when it’s hot outside and their hair keeps wanting to stick to their foreheads!). If you want to look fabulous, Doug’s is definitely the place to go – they are so busy over there that when headshot day rolls around, I just have to grab each person when they have five free minutes to get their shot done! Here’s a peek at just a few of the Doug’s staff:dougs2blog4

An unforgettable way to walk down the aisle…

My photographer friend Alison got me to watch this YouTube video- okay, so it may not be for everyone, but I would love it of one of my bridal parties would make an entrance like this! I guarantee you and your guests will never forget it, and they’ll be talking about it for years afterward!

Engagement: Melissa & Chambers – Auburn, Alabama

They met at an Auburn tailgate next to a big tree near the tennis courts – and as they say, the rest is history. After 5 years, they’re finally tying the knot, so where better to go for their session than the Auburn campus? Melissa brought her family along and they were all so nice and cute, I could have shot with them all day! Toward the end of their session, we headed over to the spot by the tree, took some pictures there, and then headed over to one of the tennis courts because I liked the color of it. 🙂 Turns out, we were on court #8, which couldn’t be more perfect – they’ll be Mr. & Mrs. on 8/8!pirofskyblog2pirofskyblog4pirofskyblog5pirofskyblog6pirofskyblog3pirofskyblog7pirofskyblog1

Wedding Album: Brandy & Ken

I’ve been sick for a few days, but I’m back in the swing of things today and back to blogging! Brandy & Ken chose one of my favorite materials for their wedding album (if you’ve seen my sample album, you’ll recognize it) – super awesome green lizard textured leather. How many people do you know that have a wedding album covered in green lizard and distressed brown leather??? Totally modern and stunning!barnesalbumblog1barnesalbumblog4barnesalbumblog3barnesalbumblog2
